GENERAL

What is the School Schedule like?

School begins the second week of January and goes through the third week of December. The weekly class schedule and holiday schedule can be found here. During the school year, we meet weekly Monday through Thursday from 9AM – 3PM plus attending weekend services.

Where is the ATD School located?

First year students are placed at our ATD Headquarters in Charlotte, NC. Second year students have the option to complete the year at our other ATD Base locations.

Does the ATD School accept international students?

Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to accept international students but we are working to be able to in the future. Until then, students from anywhere can do our online school option.

Is the ATD School accredited?

No, the ATD School is a non-accredited, non-degree granting educational institution. However, ATD School has an articulation agreement with Faith International University which means that students who successfully complete the first and second year of ATD School are eligible to receive transferable credit toward degrees. If students only successfully complete one year, their time at the ATD School can be transferred for college credit as well.

Where should I live?

All students are required to find their own housing. The ATD School does have helpful resources to assist students when requested.

FINANCES

What does tuition cover?

Tuition costs help to cover most of the textbooks needed, all classes, retreats, and half of Mission Trip costs. Tuition does not cover housing or food expenses.

Can I work if I am a student?

Yes! Our schedule allows for students to work a part-time job after classes and on the weekends while enrolled.

Are financial aid or student loans available?

Since the ATD School is non-accredited, students must raise their tuition by working or fundraising. If students are not able to pay the full tuition by the beginning of the first year, we do have payment plans available. However, if students enroll to complete a degree through partnering with Faith International University, grants and loans are available that may cover the majority of the full tuition cost.

How much does the school cost?

The cost to attend the ATD School first year is $4,000. If students enroll into the ATD School with intention to get a degree through Faith International University, the tuition cost is $8,000 (financial aid will be available).
