MISSION & VISION

Awaken The Dawn is a grassroots movement of day and night worship, prayer and missions. Beyond the events, we are a nationwide family with the shared value of hosting the presence of God, leading to a third great awakening in America and the nations.

MISSION

We are on a journey to see America awakened, re-oriented, and transformed around the presence of God. Only the presence of the real Jesus can transform our nation.

We are laying tracks for a sustainable movement of worship, prayer, and gospel proclamation in public and on campuses that will result in Jesus’ worth being displayed.

This is a rescue mission to a generation and a nation.

The sustainable tracks for awakening include relational networks, regional gatherings and training, grassroots tent worship and prayer movements, and a return to the Mall in DC. When we return to the Mall, it will be as a national family reunion both to contend for greater things and to celebrate all that God has done in the previous few years! Now is the time for profound HOPE for America.

VISION

We confess and believe the historic creeds of the Church and are committed to the great truths and abiding fundamentals of the Christian faith. This commitment is expressed through our alignment with the historic creeds, the two primary examples being the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed. We also align ourselves with the Statement of Faith of the National Association of Evangelicals (USA).

ASSIGNMENTS

2017

We are on a journey to see America awakened, re-oriented, and transformed around the presence of God. Our vision is to see a third great awakening as we disciple America to host the presence of God.

We are laying tracks for a sustainable movement of worship, prayer, and gospel proclamation in public and on campuses that will result in Jesus’ worth being displayed.

This is a rescue mission to a generation and a nation.

The sustainable tracks for awakening include relational networks, regional gatherings and training, grassroots tent worship and prayer movements, and a return to the Mall in DC in 2020. When we return to the Mall, it will be as a national family reunion both to contend for greater things and to celebrate all that God has done in the previous few years! Now is the time for profound HOPE for America.

2018

On the of heels Awaken the Dawn 2017, Tent America 2018 was launched. September 27-29, 2018, coinciding with the Feast of Tabernacles once again, ground-teams from across the nation hosted ‘tent city’ gatherings of worship, music, prayer, and gospel proclamation – simultaneously in all 50 state capital cities, including Washington D.C and Puerto Rico and on 101 college and university campuses! For fifty consecutive hours, day and night, public outdoor worship flooded our nation as the proclamation of the Gospel went forth!

2019

In 2019, we made Tent America available to ‘anyone, anywhere’ who wanted to host a tent of public worship and prayer during the feast of Tabernacles. When we opened it to more than just capitol cities and campuses, we got a feeling for the viral potential of this movement. There were over 400 tent registrations and many other locations participating from overseas!

2020

The shakings that came in 2020 have only strengthened our conviction that public expressions of worship, prayer, and gospel proclamation are key to the move of the Holy Spirit in our cities and nation.

With the launch of Living Room Revival, we met the spring lockdown with a different sort of public expression of worship and prayer: social media live-streaming. Families and small groups took 1 hour time slots to worship and pray, day and night, live on social media right from their living rooms! Following Living Room Revival in the Spring of 2020, Tent America launched in June 2020. Rather than 50 hours of simultaneous worship and prayer during the feast of Tabernacles, Tent America 2020 launched 100 days – with the ‘torch’ of worship and prayer being passed from tent to tent over the duration of the 100 days – and culminating in strategic prayer gatherings in Kansas City and in Washington DC during the feast of Tabernacles.
