BIG TENT GATHERINGS
CONCEPT
3-5 day gathering of non-stop worship, prayer, and gospel proclamation in a massive tent (or possibly open air) in a public place.
- Nightly large gatherings of creative worship and biblical messaging with
regional and national voices - 24/7 worship and prayer with teams from across the city and region on site
- Outreaches in partnership with local and national ministries throughout the
day for widespread, collaborative impact - Training in prayer, worship, and evangelism on site
- ATD Tent can accommodate 3,000 people and with delay towers outside can facilitate up to 10,000 plus
- Event is scalable up or down and customizable for region
COLLABORATION
Our goal is to serve what God is already doing in a region. We desire to serve greater interconnectedness and unity in the church of a region. We are prayerfully considering two things:
- Is there a God-story unfolding in a region that we can serve? Can we partner with existing initiatives or events
(eg stadium events etc) for multiplication of impact? - Are there key regional leaders that are inviting us to come alongside the region for greater impact?

Not simply big stage moments but every voice empowered as grassroots teams lead worship and prayer 24/7 and engage the city with the love of Jesus.
THREE OUTCOMES
- CATALYZE ONGOING WORSHIP + PRAYER AND UNITY movements in region or campus by highlighting regional initiatives and introducing the culture of sustained worship and prayer to a region. Each city can have a more focused cause for breakthrough.
- TRAIN THE NEXT GENERATION by mobilizing numerous discipleship schools with our partners and the ATD discipleship school and by offering training on site at the event. We have an ATD discipleship school called Revive School that will be engaging young people from each event in discipleship!
- REACH THOSE FAR FROM GOD through outreaches with follow up technology, missional movements during the week, and evening worship nights to encounter Jesus. Local church follow-up will be in place for each event.
IMPACT + MOBILIZATION STRATEGY
- Regional steering committee established (low enough threshold of commitment for busy leaders)
- Pre-rallies for pastors and leaders, youth, and partners (8 weeks before event)
- Monthly zoom calls for regional partners transitioning to weekly calls in the month before the event
- Collaboration for outreach with follow up plan via app
- Media collateral customized for region (video, graphics) for churches and ministries
- Marketing plan coordinated by ATD marketing team including ads and media blitz

HOSTING HUNDREDS OF TENTS ACROSS AMERICA
Tent America is anyone, anywhere, anytime. We mobilize, train, inspire, and serve cities and campuses to host tents of 24/7 worship and outreach.
We have hosted over 800 tents with Tent America on campuses and in cities. This is the GRASSROOTS movement of the presence of God and the gospel going viral!
2023 Focus: University Campuses!
THE MODEL:
- Tent America engages a simple vetting process for tent hosts across America.
- We provide branding, marketing assets, a training manual and videos.
- We advertise tent events on our website with a map of the nation including pins for each event.
- Our national leadership network serves to make personal contact with tent hosts and serve them and, at times, we send a team from our national HQ to tents.

EAST COAST
EXPANSION
Awaken the Dawn is expanding from one to two missions bases in 2023 which will serve as hubs for training the next generation in our discipleship schools, including Revive School. Our first missions base was in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Our second in 2023 is in Tampa, Florida. There are more bases being developed!
These bases include a church expression in a region, a prayerroom, and a discipleship school.
We are increasingly convinced that the purpose of Awaken the Dawn as a movement is serving the growth and expansion of communities that are hosting God’s presence and training the next generation! This includes city-wide movements.

Our leadership network includes regional and state coordinators, regional “family gatherings” for presence-centered leaders to connect, and training resources like our Jesus Movement Podcast.
Revive School is a discipleship school for the next generation.
This is a sustainable movement.
KEY GOAL: IN THE LAST YEAR WE HAVE MOBILZED ABOUT 12,000 VOLUNTEERS THAT LED AND SERVED IN PUBLIC WORSHIP AND OUTREACH!
