Tent America is a grassroots procession of day and night worship, prayer and Gospel proclamation across America. In recent years we have seen hundreds of tents hosting God’s presence across our nation as the body of Christ comes together in cities to enthrone God upon their praises.
Parks, college campuses, parking lots and street corners are flooded with the glory of God. As we welcome His presence and proclaim the Gospel in public places, we have seen salvation, healing, transformation and miracles across the regions of our nation – because Jesus changes everything!
Join the procession! ANYONE can raise a tent ANYWHERE in the United States at ANYTIME. We believe now is the time for the worth of Jesus to go viral!
THREE DISTINCTIVES OF AWAKEN THE DAWN TENTS
Day & night worship & prayer
The tents are 24 hours or more of non-stop musical worship and prayer. They reflect the non-stop worship & prayer of the heavenly throne room (Revelation 4:8, 5:8).
John 17 unity
The tents are environments where the entire body of Christ in a region can come together around God’s presence to worship and pray. They reflect the oneness that Jesus prayed about for the Church (John 17:20-21).
Gospel proclamation
The tents are places where the simple Gospel is proclaimed lovingly and boldly — either under the tent or throughout the city as teams are launched from the tents to go out and share the good news (Acts 15:16-17).

TENT AMERICA FAQs
This is completely up to you. You can purchase your own tent or rent one from your local outdoor rental store. You can also ask someone to borrow one. Any size, big or small, will do!
Relationship and prayer. Start with the people you know and invite them to participate. Use your current connections to meet new people and build new relationships. Don’t be afraid to approach different churches and ministries that you don’t know. A simple coffee and an invitation can open the door to God beginning a greater move in your city!
The tent host and their local team is responsible for raising the cost for their tent event. Once you’ve created a budget for your tent, you can share that information and fundraise via hosting small gatherings, email, and social media. Communicate the heart of the vision well, and people will respond!
Yes! We greatly encourage all tent hosts to build a team of leaders who can take on different tasks before, during, and after your tent event. This will help lower stress and create family leadership! Ideally, your team will represent multiple local churches and ministries from your area.
We desire that all tent hosts try their best to fill their tents with 24 hours of live worship and prayer. Not every hour has to be a full worship team. It’s ok if there is just one or two people. It’s also ok to put on a CD or stream music in the background while one person prays. No matter how simple or how small, His presence changes everything!
Yes! We can provide you with resources for simple training in outreach. You can plan your own schedule and teams to send out while there is worship and prayer happening in your tent. Prayer fuels the outreach and outreach fuels the prayer, creating a powerful dynamic for more sons and daughters to come into the kingdom family of God!
Many of our helpful resources can be found in the Tent Host Portal including the Tent Host Kit, E-Course, Graphics, etc. You can also connect with other tent hosts and ATD leaders to get help and resources in the ATD National Leadership Network Facebook group.

DAVID'S TENT DC
Since September 11, 2015, David’s Tent has offered a 24/7/365 love song to Jesus on the National Mall in Washington, DC. As a living memorial to the worth of Jesus in our nation, the tent has hosted countless worship teams and intercessors from across the nation to host God’s presence with the day and night worship and prayer.
Along with attending or hosting a tent in your own region during Tent America, we want to encourage you to visit David’s Tent DC. Every year, each state in America has its own “state week” at David’s Tent DC, where worshipers come to the National Mall and serve in the tent. Worship leaders and volunteers are needed from across the USA to keep the unceasing worship going!
